The Florida Public Health Association (FPHA) invites members, public health professionals, rural health professionals, public health students and faculty, and public and rural health organizations to submit proposals for poster and oral presentations at the 2026 Annual Educational Conference.
This year’s theme, “Committing to Excellence Through Collaborations and Continuity,” highlights the importance of strong partnerships, innovative practice, and sustained efforts to improve public and r health across Florida.
Submissions are invited across five themes:

Public Health in Practice: Programs, Policies & Systems
Health Education & Health-Related Social Needs
Emerging & Current Public Health Issues
The Rural Health Landscape
New for 2026:
A dedicated Student Track on Day 1 (Wednesday, July 29th) will feature career-focused sessions, interactive networking, and lightning/short-form presentations showcasing student research and practice-based projects.
A dedicated Rural Health Track on Day 2 (Thursday, July 30th) will convene rural health leaders, practitioners, researchers, and community partners to highlight innovative strategies, policy considerations, workforce solutions, and collaborative models advancing health in Florida’s rural and underserved communities.
We especially encourage submissions that demonstrate cross-sector collaboration, sustainability, and real-world impact across both urban and rural settings.
Share your work, research, and innovative ideas with Florida’s public health community and join us in advancing collaboration, continuity, and excellence statewide.
Refund Policy: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and received no later than Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Cancellations received after this date will not be eligible for a refund. No exceptions. Registrants who are unable to attend are required to notify us as soon as possible.
