
In Celebration of National Public Health Week
Hosted in partnership with the University of Florida Public Health Student Association

Join us for a one-day, in-person climate and health training designed to equip community members, students, and public health professionals with practical tools to address climate-related challenges at the local level.
This interactive training will focus on community-facing strategies and will include:
- Climate Ambassador Training: Designed to equip individuals to champion climate solutions. The program covers climate-health links and communication strategies to foster local, actionable change.
- Heat Awareness Training: Explores the connection between heat and health, including prevention and treatment of heat-related illness, community-based resilience strategies, and evidence-based communication approaches.
Participants will leave with actionable knowledge to support climate resilience, community education, and public health preparedness.
Attendees can earn 5 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
