Hosted in partnership with the University of Florida Public Health Student Association

This interactive training will focus on community-facing strategies and will include:

  • Climate Ambassador Training: Designed to equip individuals to champion climate solutions. The program covers climate-health links and communication strategies to foster local, actionable change.
  • Heat Awareness Training: Explores the connection between heat and health, including prevention and treatment of heat-related illness, community-based resilience strategies, and evidence-based communication approaches.

Participants will leave with actionable knowledge to support climate resilience, community education, and public health preparedness.
