Section Activities/Benefits
Section activities will occur year-round, but it is the FPHA Annual Education Conference where Section
leaders and members 'kick it into overdrive.' This section sponsors or co-sponsors scientific
sessions. In the future, this section will be looking into opportunities to host a social and give
section awards in various health promotion areas of practice and academics
Also on the horizon for this upcoming year,
this section will be looking to have a clearing house where practitioners can share resources, health education materials,
best practices, publications and presentations. In addition, this section will be looking for opportunities
to impact public policy through regional projects that work to meet common goals.
